The Liana (Caapi) vine has been said to have come from the finger of the daughter of the sky god that broke off while she was in child birth. The Chacruna (Viridis) is said to be the broken finger of her sister. When brewed together, the plants create a mixture of profound effect on people. Shamans use it to heal illness, talk to spirits, and find lost objects.
