After just one wash you will not know where the print ends and the shirt begins. Our unique printing process actually pulls the dye color out of the shirt and leaves the ink color behind, essentially dyeing the cotton with the ink. The Mountain Classic T-shirt features an over-sized relaxed fit, with reinforced double-stitching on all seams. After dyeing they are washed and dried, so they arrive to you comfortable, pre-shrunk & ready to wear. This heavyweight 100% Cotton tee will last you years and years.

When you first receive your Mountain garment we recommend washing in cold water alone or with like colors. Since your shirt was hand-dyed it will continue to bleed some excess color for the first few washes. It is safe to use normal detergent, just make sure to avoid bleach. Your Mountain Tee should be dried either in a tumble dryer or flat, not hung as the weight of the water will cause the cotton to stretch.

Jason Seiler is a Chicago based artist who began his professional career in a rather unorthodox way. After getting in trouble for drawing parodies of his history teacher in high school, Jason’s quick-thinking principle hired him to draw portraits of different faculty members. A professional artist was born. Jason went on to study fine art illustration at the American Academy of Art in Chicago for two years before beginning his professional work in earnest. Jason’s illustrations and paintings have been featured as covers and interior pieces for Adobe, Rolling Stone, Billboard, The Utne Reader, TIME, The New Yorker, Der Spiegel, Business Week, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Weekly Standard, MAD magazine, GOLF Digest, AD WEEK, KING magazine, Revolver, Guitar Player, The Village Voice, Penguin Group, Disney, The New York Observer, New Line Cinema, Universal Pictures, Aardman Animation, and Sony Image, among others. Jason also worked with his friends at Imaginism Studios, as a character designer on Tim Burton’s “Alice In Wonderland”, helping to create such characters as the Red Queen, the Tweedles, the Bandersnatch and more. Painted 4 paintings for the film “Escape to Planet Earth”, and most recently painted 6 stamps for the USPS Forever Series.

Viva la Seventies! You gotta love this classic shot of Elvis and Nixon. What a weird encounter that was. First, Elvis just shows up at the White House door and delivers a hand-written note saying he wants to be made an honorary drug agent or whatever. Then the two of them meet, Elvis gives Nixon a Colt .45 pistol, and they take some really awkward photos together. Strange times!
That’s weird. I don’t seem to remember Nixon wearing a Darth Vader costume at the time. Thought he was just wearing a plain-old suit. Weird. Then again, it was the seventies, and people were doing a lot of weird stuff back then. Maybe everyone just remembers it wrong.
But that is a little strange, no? I mean, s that a normal thing for a president to do? Especially Nixon. That guy had such a stick up his butt. (And had Star Wars even been released yet?) Holy crap, maybe Nixon was Darth Vader the whole time!
