A piñata pin-yah-tə, is a container often made of papier-mâché, pottery, or cloth; it is decorated, and filled with small toys or candy, or both, and then broken as part of a ceremony or celebration. Piñatas are commonly associated with Mexico. The idea of breaking a container filled with treats came to Europe in the 14th century, where the name, from the Italian pignatta, was introduced. The Spanish brought the European tradition to Mexico, although there were similar traditions in Mesoamerica. The Aztecs had a similar tradition to honor the birthday of the god Huitzilopochtli in mid December.

One afternoon the wicked Mr. Crowley took a short break from his usual mystical ramblings to pen an obscure essay extolling the virtues of absinthe.
A strange combination of influences was at work that day in The Old Absinthe House, mainly dodgy black magic and mysteriously intoxicating spirits.
While some may think it a bad idea to mix the two, it worked for us and inspired the fine mash up of lusty art nouveau and occult symbology.

Super gorgeous little dress that is totally suitable for a Prom!!! Love the bow back detail with this cute puffed skirt which has tule lining to give it an extra puff to the skirt. Because the skirt flairs out a lot, it feels super short but it balances out beautifully! If the skirt was long, it would look too dorky!!! Full cotton fabric, it has barely to no stretch. The cute key hole cutout gives a little detail to the front. Tall girls with super long legs, beware of the length! Absolutely LOVE this dress.
