He appears courteous and gallant at first but his true nature quickly reveals itself. Joffrey is a hot-headed teen used to getting his own way. He routinely bullies those weaker and of lower station than himself. He is leering when it comes to women. He has rage issues and may be mentally unstable. He has a thirst for vengeance. He is not very bright and extremely sheltered by Cersei. He has roundly disliked by all around him including members of his immediate family which only increases as he starts to come into power.
