Gloopz takes second place with his classic illustration of Arno perched atop the ACU crest above a Parisian crowd. Perched above the city the Assassin watches his target through crowded streets. Armed with a sword and pistol he’s prepared for any situation or any foe.

What made you decide to enter the Assassin’s Creed Unity Contest?
Having enjoyed playing a few of the Assassins Creed games and being a huge fan of Ubisoft titles in general, I felt inspired and drawn ( no pun intended! ) to this contest.
Tell us a little about your design process
Before I even pick up a pencil it’s really important that I am totally convinced the direction I have chosen will work on a t-shirt. I thought it would look cool to have Arno perched on top of the AC logo in a statuesque calm before the storm type of pose which would contrast well with all the movement and craziness of the Revolution below.
You can see from my progress images I tend to experiment and change the Illustration a lot. this approach gives me options to explore different colors, poses etc and is typical of the way I work. I scanned in a rough sketch and built up layers of tone and color much the same way as a traditional painting using Photoshop and Painter.
